Saskatchewan Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and waste is minimized.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that orders are accurate and delivered on time.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately covered and that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and train staff to achieve exceptional results.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
