At Qubittron, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Developer to join our team. This full-time hybrid role is based in Oakville, ON, with remote work options available.

About the Role

This position involves tasks such as business process analysis, software development, programming, integration of SAP products, and utilizing BTP for extending and innovating SAP functionalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize applications and services using the RAP and CAP models in SAP BTP.
  • Create technical designs for the applications based on the functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with other developers, functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve highly complex technical issues.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team and stakeholders, helping them effectively understand and utilize RAP and CAP.
  • Actively participate in daily scrum, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to a high-performing Agile team through pair programming and a team-first approach.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a BTP Developer and total 8+ years in SAP.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • SAP BTP Knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including its capabilities, services, and development environments.
  • Expertise in the ABAP RAP model in SAP S/4HANA for creating efficient, scalable, and maintainable ABAP applications.
  • Proficiency in the CAP model for building services and applications on SAP BTP.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in ABAP for RAP and Node.Js or Java for CAP is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is also helpful.
  • Experience developing and extending SAP Fiori applications, preferably in the SAP BTP environment.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture principles and how to implement them in the context of SAP BTP.
Salary

We offer an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
