Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons Grande Prairie. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
    • Prepare and submit reports on customer feedback and sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, including staff assignments and task delegation.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food, supplies, and labor, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and multitasking skills.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods, with physical demands associated with food preparation and service.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player attitude.
