Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at Arcadis Professional Services (Canada) Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts to ensure compliance with building codes and specifications
  • Inspect construction of building and engineering projects to identify any defects or non-compliance
  • Enforce steel and concrete installation codes to ensure structural integrity
  • Inspect sewer systems and pipelines to ensure they meet safety and quality standards
  • Ensure safe working conditions are maintained on construction sites
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. construction management, engineering)
  • 3+ years of experience in construction inspection or a related field
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
