Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Disaster Restoration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations, assessing damage, and implementing restoration plans to return properties to their pre-loss condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Response
    • Respond to emergency calls and assess damage to properties
    • Develop and implement restoration plans to minimize downtime and ensure safe working conditions
  • Restoration and Reconstruction
    • Load, unload, and transport construction materials as needed
    • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
    • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and debris
    • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Security and Safety
    • Conduct criminal record checks and ensure all necessary safety protocols are in place
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Hold a valid driver's license and ensure a reliable vehicle is available for work
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in physically demanding environments, handling heavy loads and equipment
  • Personal Suitability
    • Demonstrate a client-focused approach, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 32 to 40 hours of work per week
