We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team at CNB. As a Steward, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our team members and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Organize, rinse, spray, and load the dishwasher, wash dishes by hand if necessary, and ensure all kitchen areas are clean and sanitized.
- Inventory Management: Store clean items in designated areas, sort and remove garbage and recycling, and assist with the receipt of goods into the work area.
- Food Preparation: Prepare food products as requested and assist with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Communication: Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments, including kitchen staff, management, and other team members.
- Teamwork: Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, ownership, and team members.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of work experience
- Certifications: Food Safety Certification
- Skills: Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License, ability to exceed internal customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
The Steward will work in a regular kitchen environment, standing and walking for long periods of time, with major exposure to heat, cold, steam, noise, odors, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, and some exposure to fumes, smoke, chemicals, risk of minor cuts and burns, and non-traditional work hours.
