Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher to join our team at the Upper Canada District School Board. As a permanent teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum for Secondary students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and performance
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in professional development and staff meetings
Requirements
  • Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification
  • Intermediate Computer Studies and Intermediate Guidance qualifications
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff
