Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher to join our team at the Upper Canada District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum for Secondary students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and performance
  • Develop and implement lesson plans and educational programs
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success
  • Participate in professional development and staff meetings
Requirements
  • Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification
  • Intermediate Computer Studies and Intermediate Guidance qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
