Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop and execute design plans.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems.
  • Work closely with clients and consultants to ensure projects meet their requirements and deadlines.
  • Utilize industry-standard software, including Revit MEP and Navisworks, to create accurate models and perform load calculations.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members and contribute to the development of their skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, ensuring that designs meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project plans and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the design process.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 9-12 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems.

  • Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
