Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for examining patients' health conditions, identifying diseases and injuries, and developing treatment plans. They will also collect medical information, order laboratory tests, consult with other medical practitioners, prescribe medications, and participate in routine surgery. Additionally, they will deliver babies, provide prenatal and postnatal care, advise patients on healthcare, supervise staff, and report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other health-related issues to government authorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Clinical Expertise: The candidate must possess excellent clinical skills, including the ability to examine patients, diagnose conditions, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will need to interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Licensure and Certification: The candidate must be licensed to practice medicine in the province or territory where the job is located and hold relevant certifications, such as the College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) or the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC).
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $$175,000 - $225,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental plan, disability benefits, vision care benefits, group insurance benefits, life insurance, and long-term care insurance.
