About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Sales Manager to join our Softgoods team at Sport Chek. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and coaching your team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a daily sales plan to drive sales growth and meet business objectives.
  • Coach and develop your team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and employees to drive sales and improve customer loyalty.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive business results and achieve company objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
