Job Summary:

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Protection Worker to join our team. As a Child Protection Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home visits and assessments to identify the needs of children and families
  • Develop and implement case plans to address the needs of children and families
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, healthcare providers, and educators, to provide comprehensive support to children and families
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to children and families in crisis
  • Participate in court proceedings and provide testimony as required

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as social work or child and family studies
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
