The Advancement Officer, Leadership Giving is a key member of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Advancement Team, responsible for identifying and qualifying donor prospects with the ability to make annual leadership gifts at the $1K to $10K level. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to secure financial support from a portfolio of donor prospects, including alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and the community.
Key Responsibilities- Manage relationships with donor prospects to secure annual leadership gifts
- Develop and implement strategies for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts
- Collaborate with faculty Major Gift Fundraisers to develop and implement strategies to upgrade donors and develop the pipeline for major and planned gifts
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and four years of related fundraising experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Key qualifications include:
- Experience developing proposals for individuals and corporations
- Experience in developing donor engagement plans
- Excellent interpersonal skills
