Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide medical support to our clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting patients in their homes, conducting assessments, administering medication, and educating patients and their families on proper home health care strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visiting patients in their homes for one-on-one visits
  • Conducting initial and ongoing assessments to identify physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of home health patients
  • Assessing patients' conditions and charting observations, and performing evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review
  • Administering medication as prescribed by the patient's physician
  • Educating patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's School of Nursing, or vocational nursing
  • Current license with College of Nurses Ontario and in Good Standing as an RN or RPN
  • Professional Liability Insurance - Mandatory
  • Proof of current CPR certification
  • Compassionate and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
