Job Title: Dental Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Technician to join our team at Image Dental Laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and repairing dental devices, including crowns, bridges, and implants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and create dental devices using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Fabricate and repair crowns, bridges, and implants using various materials
  • Modify dental devices, including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps, and bands
  • Prepare plaster models and moulds for dental devices
  • Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
  • Mould wax over dentures set-up
  • Finish metal framework of dentures
  • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
  • Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys
  • Polish and buff dentures
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a dental laboratory setting
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
