Our mission is to promote safety and well-being for those working at heights, including lift operators, scaffolders, and façade climbers. These physically demanding jobs often result in stress injuries and pose significant risks every day. Our innovative drone-based solutions support this group and improve their working conditions.

We are seeking an Operations Director who will lead and manage our daily operations while driving business growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in operations or general management, preferably within facilities management. This role requires a dynamic leader with the ability to build relationships, lead people, and ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and business opportunities.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
    • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial and sales data.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
    • Oversee the management of key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to assess service quality and gather feedback.
    • Resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, motivate, and mentor the team to achieve individual goals.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs.
    • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is equipped with the latest techniques, safety protocols, and customer service skills.
    • Foster a positive, results-oriented work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the operational budget, including labor, equipment, and supply costs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies without compromising service quality.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
    • Stay informed of industry best practices and regulatory changes, adapting operations as necessary.

The successful candidate will have post-secondary education in business or a related field, combined with a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, preferably in a leadership position within facilities management. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, are essential.

KTV Working Drone Vancouver offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $100,000-$125,000.
