About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Moose Painting Ltd. as a key member of our interior and exterior finishing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and surfaces, maintaining the integrity of the structure.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a professional finish.
  • Wall Decor Installation: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, creating a visually appealing environment.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Settlement Support: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and storage.
  • Social and Labour Market Integration: Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees, facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
  • Refugee Recruitment: Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster, providing a supportive environment for their integration.
  • Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, ensuring their skills are recognized and valued.
Support for Youths
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, promoting their growth and development.
Support for Visible Minorities
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, creating a welcoming work environment.
  • Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to promote understanding and respect among team members.
