Senior Mechanical Process Engineer

Our Power district is a multi-faceted division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on EPC delivery model for power facilities. We offer various engineering services, including owner's engineering, project development, detailed engineering and design, construction management and plant services.
The Senior Mechanical Process Engineer will be responsible for evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques and procedures to projects, performing intermediate complexity engineering designs, and preparing mechanical engineering designs and equipment lists.
- Evaluate and select engineering techniques and procedures for projects
- Perform intermediate complexity engineering designs, including analysis and calculations
- Develop mechanical piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for facility systems
- Prepare sizing calculations and specifications for major equipment
- Prepare mechanical engineering designs and equipment lists
- At least 10 years' experience in mechanical engineering and design
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a CEAB accredited college or university program
- P.Eng. license preferred
- Highly motivated and committed to excellence
