  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and secure handling.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, maintaining the condition of the vehicle and its equipment.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform brake adjustments as needed.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all regulations.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, following all safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and judgment
  • Organized and a team player
