About the Role

Advance Millwrights is a leading manufacturer, installer, and repairer of cutting-edge machinery for critical industries. We're seeking a skilled Project Estimator to work with our projects in Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate proposals from customer requests
  • Collaborate with Project Management on estimating projects
  • Provide exceptional customer experience
  • Offer expertise to customers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and budget
  • Manage in-progress jobs to meet deadlines and budget
  • Review drawings before they go to the shop
  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Contribute to all stages of the design process, from conception to plan presentations
  • Develop extensive knowledge of product lines, preferred practices, and industry standards
  • Conduct site visits with Project Management to obtain field measurements
  • Attend Project Kick-Off meetings as required
Requirements
  • College/University degree or diploma, or equivalent job experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar estimation role
  • Strong engineering and manufacturing knowledge
  • Able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative thinker
  • Analytical mindset
  • Strong organizational, time, and budget management skills
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
Assets
  • Experience with SolidWorks an asset
  • Experience with MS Project an asset
  • Knowledge of fabrication, programming, electrical, and millwrighting an asset
