About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services for carpets and various types of flooring in residential and commercial settings. Your primary duties will include:
- Performing thorough cleaning, shampooing, and extraction of carpets using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions.
- Cleaning and maintaining various types of flooring such as tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl.
- Inspecting floors to determine the most effective cleaning methods and identifying any potential issues or repairs needed.
- Preparing areas for cleaning by moving furniture, if necessary, and protecting surrounding furnishings and surfaces.
- Providing top-notch customer service by interacting with customers professionally and courteously, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the service.
- Maintaining and operating cleaning equipment, including carpet extractors, rotary machines, and floor scrubbers, and ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience as a Floor Care Professional or in a similar field.
- Knowledge of different types of carpets and flooring materials, as well as appropriate cleaning methods and solutions.
- The ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- A valid driver's license.
