Job Title: Sales and Estimation Consultant

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Estimation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating revenue by developing market potential, forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have existing knowledge of the building envelope and insulation products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify market potential by qualifying accounts and scheduling appointments.
  • Initiate the sales process by making initial presentations and understanding account requirements.
  • Closing sales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining product and service capabilities, and overcoming objections.
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services.
  • Contribute to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
  • Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results and identifying needs to be filled.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with contractors and builders.
  • Deliver results with respect to sales targets and margin targets.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of insulation products and an understanding of the building envelope is a must.
  • Experience within the construction industry is highly desired.
  • Presentation skills, internal communications, verbal and written communication, closing skills, motivation for sales, sales planning, territory management, prospecting skills, persistence, and meeting sales goals.
  • Ambition and a thirst to learn is a must.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience with territory sales.
