Heavy Equipment Specialist

At MasterTech, we are seeking an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. This role offers a unique opportunity to work independently and utilize your skills to maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment for clients across various industries.
Compensation PackageWe offer a competitive hourly rate of $42.50-$52.00 per hour, ensuring you receive fair compensation for your expertise. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 3 weeks of paid vacation to start. A company vehicle and gas card are also provided, allowing you to travel efficiently between locations.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of client heavy equipment, encompassing construction, forestry, mining, landscaping, and other sectors;
- Utilizing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems knowledge to ensure efficient equipment operation;
- Working independently with minimal supervision, leveraging your problem-solving skills to address complex issues;
- Owning a set of tools, essential for performing tasks effectively;
- Validating your Truck and Coach (310T) and/or Heavy Equipment (421A) Technician license, ensuring you meet industry standards.
