Job Description

The primary responsibility of an Industrial Security Guard at GardaWorld is to provide a safe and secure environment for people, information, and property. This involves:

  • Protecting clients' assets and personnel from potential threats;
  • Issuing visitor cards and monitoring access control systems;
  • Answering phone calls and responding to emergencies;
  • Conducting regular patrols of the site, both on foot and virtually;
  • Monitoring CCTV cameras and responding to incidents;
  • Maintaining accurate records of events and reporting any security breaches to management.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. If you have experience in the security industry and are passionate about delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Previous experience in the security industry (asset);
  • First Aid Level C CPR and AED certification;
  • A Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract;
  • A reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work;
  • A Saskatchewan Security Guard License Training Certificate (we can help you obtain this);
  • A clean criminal background check;
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations;
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
