Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of construction teams, including laborers, tradespeople, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supervise and train construction staff, including new hires and temporary workers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex construction data and make informed decisions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
