SAP Security Expert and Access Management Specialist

The SAP Security Expert and Access Management role is a critical position within BRP, responsible for overseeing the management of SAP access processes and providing ongoing support to SAP Security. This individual will be responsible for managing the SAP GRC application, handling access inquiries related to SAP authorizations, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to coordinate issues related to SAP GRC Access Controls and SAP access process integration.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implementation: Design, build, test, and deploy SAP roles with associated entitlements based on best practices.
- Access Management: Translate access-related functional requirements into the technical design of system authorizations.
- Project Integration: Access Management project integration involving SAP, AD, and cloud apps.
- Technical Support: Support and provide technical assistance for issues related to SAP authorizations.
- Security Implementation: Support the implementation of SAP security for new installations and upgrades.
- Investigations and Queries: Respond to investigations and queries by the Security Team or Auditors related to Access Controls.
- Compliance: Apply and ensure compliance with applicable security industry standards and regulations (e.g. SOX, Security, Architecture, etc.).
- Documentation: Create and maintain accurate process documentation.
- SAP Security Consulting: Provide SAP Security Consulting services.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or any other related field.
- Experience: Experience in SAP GRC access is a must.
- SAP Authorization: Experience with SAP authorization in environments such as ECC, Solution Manager, BW, Hana, GRC, Fiori, S4 HANA, SAP Cloud Applications (LBN, GTT, IAS, IBP).
- SAP HR Authorization Security: Experience with SAP HR authorization security.
- User and Role Access Management: User and role access management.
- SAP GRC Concepts: A good understanding of SAP GRC concepts and best practices with hands-on experience (ex: Access Certification, Provisioning/De-Provisioning, SSO, Privileged Access Management).
- Results-Oriented: A results-oriented individual with the ability to deliver a quality product in a timely fashion.
- Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills: Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Off-Hour Support: This role will require off-hour support on a rotational basis.
- Language Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English is a must, and French is highly desirable.
