About the Role

As a key member of the BRP team, the SAP GRC Security and Access Management Expert will be responsible for managing SAP access processes and providing ongoing daily security assistance. This individual will be responsible for managing SAP GRC applications and handling SAP authorization-related access requests. The Security and Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for communicating and collaborating with internal teams and partners to coordinate SAP GRC access control issues and integrate access processes with SAP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP roles with associated rights in accordance with best practices.
  • Convert functional access requirements into technical authorization system design.
  • Ensure integration of access management projects involving SAP, AD, and cloud applications.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for SAP authorization-related issues.
  • Support the implementation of SAP security for new installations and upgrades.
  • Respond to security team or auditor inquiries regarding access controls.
  • Apply and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations (e.g., SOX, security, architecture, etc.).
  • Provide SAP security advice.
  • Provide SAP GRC support.
  • Support SAP GRC access control processes.
  • Ensure end-to-end implementation of SAP GRC access control.
  • Have practical experience in access control, access risk analysis (ARA), role-based access control (RBAC), access request management (ARM), emergency access management (EAM), and FFID.
  • Have a deep understanding of data management tasks related to NWBC, including GRC data reference management, request creation and investigation, and report generation.
  • Have a thorough understanding of SOX controls in place at BRP and ensure the implementation of controls in daily activities.
  • Have a good understanding of SAP GRC separation of duties (SoD) principles and updates.
  • Have experience personalizing and configuring SAP GRC workflow.
  • Have experience implementing mitigation measures for SAP SoD violations and corrective measures.
  • Be able to resolve security issues by interacting with key functional/business stakeholders to provide SAP/GRC security solutions.
  • Be able to investigate SAP security and GRC errors independently, including presenting solutions, testing solutions, and communicating changes to production.
  • Collaborate closely with the SOX control team to ensure synchronization with schedules, reliability of controls, reliability of external verification, etc.
  • Lead technical internal training sessions on SAP/GRC security.
Requirements
  • Experience with SAP GRC access is an asset.
  • Experience with SAP authorization in environments such as ECC, Solution Manager, BW, Hana, GRC, Fiori, S4 HANA, and SAP cloud applications (LBN, GTT, IAS, IBP).
  • Experience with SAP RH security authorization.
  • User access management.
  • Good understanding of SAP GRC concepts and best practices with practical experience (e.g., access certification, provisioning/deprovisioning, SSO, privileged access management).
  • Results-driven individual with the ability to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • This role requires out-of-hours assistance on a rotating basis.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders daily, including those outside of Quebec or those who are unilingual English speakers.
