About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings team at WSP Canada. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design of commercial, institutional, and residential buildings. Your expertise in electrical power distribution, fire alarm/voice communication, emergency power supply, EV charging, and lighting system design will be essential in delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and residential buildings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and industry standards
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure electrical systems are installed and functioning correctly
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 6-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in building design
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other disciplines
