About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to join our team at Sports Experts. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process for our clothing products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with our photo and marketing teams to ensure timely receipt of samples
  • Work closely with our buyers and product managers to source high-quality products
  • Manage our product seeding program across various brands
  • Support our buying presentations and provide business insights to inform purchasing decisions
  • Take high-quality photos of samples for our buyers and franchisees
  • Provide resources and support for purchasing-related requests
  • Sell inventory through our system and manage older inventory for discount
  • Assist with setting up franchisee shows and building integration files
  • Source assistance for analysts during busy periods and provide service to franchisees

Requirements

  • DEC in business administration or relevant education/experience
  • Fully bilingual in French and English
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and autonomy
  • Strong relationship-building skills, outgoing, and personable
  • Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • 1-3 years of retail sales/service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • General knowledge of sporting goods products
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite
