Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to join our team at Sports Experts. As a Purchasing Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process for our clothing products, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with our photo/marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the purchasing process for clothing products, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with the photo/marketing team.
  • Coordinate with the buyers and Owned Brands product manager to ensure smooth product seeding and buying presentations.
  • Manage the product seeding program through the different Owned Brands.
  • Support Owned Brands buying presentations and provide business strategies and information relevant to Owned Brands.
  • Take pictures of all samples for each buyer to build the overview/catalogue for franchise buying shows.
  • Provide resources for purchasing concerning Owned Brands requests and sell inventory through the system inventory directory.
  • Assist with setting up franchisee shows and build the integration file with the correct information given by the OB team.
  • Source of assistance for analysts during busy periods and provide service to franchisees - Owned Brands claims/guarantees.

Requirements

  • DEC in business administration or relevant education/experience.
  • Fully bilingual (French and English).
  • Autonomy, authenticity, and teamwork player.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented.
  • Relationship building skills, outgoing, and personable.
  • Flexibility needed for multi-task environment.
  • 1-3 years of retail sales/service experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills.
  • General knowledge of sporting goods products.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
