Catering Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and safe food handling practices.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records and minimizing waste.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, analyzing data to optimize food costs and menu offerings.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, utilizing data to inform menu decisions and operational improvements.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Our fast-paced restaurant environment requires a team player who can work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a physically demanding pace.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
