Catering Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality service and food presentation.
- Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
The Catering Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with physical demands associated with a busy food service environment.
Requirements:- 1-2 years of experience in food service operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
