Food Service Manager

Mr. Pretzels is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory management
- Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and walk frequently
As a Food Service Supervisor at Mr. Pretzels, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, staff, and management. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 25 pounds.
