Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, and maintain accurate internal record-keeping systems.
- Goods Receipt and Storage: Route goods to appropriate storage areas, unpack goods received, and oversee loading and unloading of goods.
- Quality Control: Record shortages and reject damaged goods, ensuring that only high-quality products are stored and distributed.
- Technology and Data Management: Utilize database software, inventory control software, and spreadsheet applications to manage and analyze inventory data.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Skills: Attention to detail, physically demanding work, standing for extended periods, accurate, dependable, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The work environment is a warehouse or retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.
Language and Work ConditionsThe primary language of work is English. The work involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
