Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, including tasks such as reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
  • Delegate work to office support staff
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Perform data entry
  • Train staff
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
  • Resolve conflict situations
  • Monitor and evaluate
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Reliability and adaptability
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced office environment with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
