The Black Belt Jung's Taekwondo is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Taekwondo Instructor to lead our fitness and recreation programs.

About the Job

We offer a competitive salary of $**45,000 - 60,000 per year**, depending on experience, in addition to opportunities for professional growth and development. As a Taekwondo Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy fitness classes and recreational activities that promote physical fitness, discipline, and mental well-being.

Job Description

This is a permanent, full-time position with a flexible schedule, working approximately 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues, clients, and guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate and instruct various martial arts techniques and movements;
  • Instruct groups and individuals in taekwondo training and recreation;
  • Plan and lead recreational, fitness, and sports activities;
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and ensure their safety and comfort;
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies; and
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong educational background, preferably a college diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in teaching or coaching is an asset, but not required. You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
