Job Description

B&H is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Returns Evaluator to join our team. As a Returns Evaluator, you will be responsible for processing customer returns in accordance with our company's return and exchange policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review Customer Communications: Examine customer communications, such as RMA letters and customer service notes, to determine customer needs.
  • Inspect Returned Merchandise: Inspect returned merchandise to determine condition and check for accessories.
  • Determine Placement: Determine the placement of the merchandise, such as stock, returned to vendor, used, or back to customer.
  • Process Refunds and Credits: Process refunds, credits, and restocking fees based on B&H policies.
  • Create New Orders: Create new orders if exchanges are requested.
  • Repack Merchandise: Repack merchandise to new condition if recategorized as new.
Additional Responsibilities:

As assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:
  • Organizational Skills: Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of computer systems, including UNIX, web, email, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience troubleshooting computers and cell phones is preferred but not required.
Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:
  • Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance.
  • Standing Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Required Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 9am - 6pm AND Friday, 9am - 3pm.

Eligibility contingent upon background screening.
