Job Title: Director of People Projects and Solutions

Join Sun Life as a Director of People Projects and Solutions and lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives within our HR Shared Services function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive HR strategic projects for HR Shared Services, including mergers and acquisitions, workforce planning, and HRSS automation transformation efforts.
  • Accountable for the development and implementation of strategic analytical initiatives and research, providing insights through data-driven HR analytics.
  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, utilizing best practices in change management and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement frameworks to ensure HR operations complies with local and global regulations, reducing operational risks and enhancing process governance.
  • Oversee the management of external vendors and service providers to optimize HR solutions, ensuring high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive workforce planning initiatives and leverage HR data to support business strategy, workforce optimization, and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale projects, in workforce planning, M&A integration, or operational strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of operational compliance, risk management, and vendor management.
  • Expertise in analytics and experience leveraging data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Strong understanding of HR technologies and tools, such as HRIS, workforce planning software, and data analytics platforms.
