Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Baker to lead our bakery team in the production of high-quality breads and pastries. As a Head Baker, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the bakery, including recipe development, staff training, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recipe Development: Develop and implement new recipes for breads and pastries, ensuring that they meet our high standards for quality and taste.
- Staff Training: Train and mentor our bakery team members on the production of breads and pastries, including hands-on training and guidance on recipe preparation and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all breads and pastries meet our quality standards, including presentation, taste, and texture.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
Work Setting:
The Head Baker will work in our bakery, which is a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The candidate should be able to work in a team and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
