Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

N.J. Building Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our facilities, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services.
  • Recommend additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that cleaning staff are aware of their responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The Cleaning Supervisor will work in a variety of settings, including office buildings, commercial facilities, and residential areas.
