Job Summary

OB IT SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a skilled Telecommunication Cable Installer to join our team. As a Telecommunication Cable Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, inspecting and testing cable signals, and repairing cable signals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable modems and software to enable Internet access.
  • Cable Signal Inspection and Repair: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment, and repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
  • Equipment Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment, including splicing, joining, and connecting wires.
  • Work at Heights: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
