Join Our Team as a Director, Commercial Sales

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Commercial Sales team at Westland Insurance Ltd. As a Director, Commercial Sales, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and mentoring a team of Commercial Account Executives.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of Commercial Account Executives in several BC offices, providing guidance and oversight on sales processes.
  • Represent Westland Insurance Group Ltd. to the BC insurance markets, implementing and supporting key initiatives and goals.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure high-quality submissions to markets and work closely with industry partners to deliver the best insurance solutions for clients.
  • Engage with clients, prospects, and insurance partners to support Account Executives in delivering exceptional service.
  • Set individual goals, provide performance coaching, and feedback, and identify and develop internal talent for future commercial segment roles.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years in Commercial Insurance Account Management and Sales experience, plus minimum 3-5 years leadership experience.
  • Level 3 General Insurance License.
  • Bonus: One of the CAIB, CIP, FCIP, and CRM designations.
