We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Arvan Rehab Group in London, Ontario. This role will involve working closely with residents in a Long Term Care home to improve their activities of daily living.
Job SummaryThis is a part-time position requiring 4-5 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will conduct OT/ADP assessments for residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and document all progress notes in the facility's health record system.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive OT/ADP assessments for residents according to College standards
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of each resident
- Document all progress notes and updates in the facility's electronic health record system
- Collaborate with Physiotherapists and Nursing staff on wound management and patient care
- Work with the multidisciplinary team to make recommendations on interventions and treatments
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and ADP Authorizer certification
- Professional License Insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a Long Term Care home environment
- Current police check for the Vulnerable Sector
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000 based on industry standards and location.
