Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team at High Tech Genesis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Golang and experience working with large codebases and microservices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our software applications using industry best tools and technologies. They will work closely with our team of experienced engineers to design, implement, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing software applications using Golang
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality code that meets industry standards
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Golang and industry trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Golang
  • 2+ years of experience with microservices
  • 2+ years of experience with Rest API development
  • 2+ years of experience with Linux
  • 2+ years of experience with a source code repository like Git
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile/ Scrum

Desired skills:

  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Understanding of Cloud: AWS, Azure, or OpenStack
  • Knowledgeable in TCP/IP Networking (Bonus points for CCNA)
