Job Title: Senior Software Developer - Embedded Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at QNX Software Systems. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for our embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software for embedded systems
  • Test and debug software to ensure quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development needs
  • Develop and maintain software documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Strong C programming skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of POSIX-based operating system architectures
  • Understanding of operating system concepts
  • Familiarity with the GNU tool set
  • Experience with multi-cpu, multithreaded architectures and real-time systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • System-level QNX experience
  • Experience with performance, memory, and post-mortem analysis
  • Experience with git, SVN, and gnu tool set
  • Experience in low-level assembly programming on ARM and/or x86
