We are seeking a highly skilled Media Sales Professional to join our team at Apex Exchange. As an Account Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving media sales opportunities across all platforms and collaborating with agency planning teams to drive media activations and demonstrate the value of Apex.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute media sales strategies to support client brand/campaign goals and drive success for the business.
- Present innovative media opportunities and deliver professional and comprehensive Apex media presentations to clients and agency partners.
- Uphold, deliver, and support the Apex value proposition across all assigned agency brands.
- Facilitate frequent updates with Apex buying teams to ensure delivery of campaign performance and delivery of KPI's.
- Responsible for day-to-day client engagement and account management across three agencies.
- Partner with internal teams to develop and implement full-cycle media plans and support client presentations as needed.
- Develop and maintain client and agency partner relationships.
- Ensure financial reporting and forecasts are issued accurately and on time.
- Monitor pacing of brand team spends to ensure quarterly targets are met.
- Oversee and manage special projects to ensure proper execution from internal teams and on-time completion.
- Gather, refine, and analyze research & insights to create informed POV's and recommendations.
- Minimum of Associate Degree in Media, Bachelor's degree a plus/preferred.
- Track record of success throughout post-secondary career and previous employment.
- Minimum of 5+ years of related experience and 3 years in a similar role.
- Media systems' proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of media strategy, planning, and buying.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong analytical & math proficiency skills.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical proficiency, particularly with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
