Job Overview
As a Community Leadership Specialist with Canada Post, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling postal products and services to the public and businesses in your community. Reporting to the Superintendent/Local Area Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and welcoming workplace that embodies our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities, fostering trust and understanding of Canada Post's services.
2. Lead and motivate teams to achieve retail sales goals, delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting postal products and services.
3. Administer post office operations, ensuring efficient management of mail delivery routes, revenue, assets, and values.
4. Supervise staff performance, providing training, coaching, and feedback to enhance skills and productivity.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to optimize mail delivery routes, minimizing delays and improving customer satisfaction.

Requirements
1. High school diploma or provincial equivalency, combined with experience in business administration or leadership roles.
2. Proven track record of leading and directing teams, driving results, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong knowledge of postal regulations, procedures, and best practices for processing mail and providing exceptional customer service.
5. Ability to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail while standing for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
