Job Summary

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring efficient food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Place dishes in storage areas and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for customers
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables and take orders
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars and remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment

We offer a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week and a work language of English.
