Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Golden Child Daycare. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes leading activities, encouraging creativity, and guiding children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities that promote learning and creativity, such as storytelling, singing, and exploring local points of interest
  • Encourage children to express themselves through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
Requirements:
  • Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Criminal record check and immunization records
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Dependability, interpersonal awareness, reliability, and team player skills
