Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Golden Child Daycare. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This will involve leading activities, encouraging creativity, and establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records.
Work Environment:

Our daycare is located in a rural area, and we are willing to relocate the right candidate. The successful candidate will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel.
